York - 11th of June

Today we travelled by train to York.  Very historic, very beautiful.  Here is a pic of our  guesthouse.  Suffice to say, we have a ground floor room, the window to the left of the door.

We are only here 1 day so we are trying to see as much as possible in 24 hours.  So we went for a walk into ye olde parte of Yorke.

Did I happen to mention that we have done a lot of walking.  We also walked to the train museum.  Unfortunately the flying scotsman wasn't there today, they took it out for repairs or something, but they had all the royal trains from the Victoria era (I think), plus lots of other trains, trains, trains.  If you don't like endless trains skip the next 500 photos.
